About Us

Welcome to Organic Gardeners HQ! At our site, we’re all about sharing our passion for organic gardening and cultivating healthy, chemical-free foods. As lifelong organic growers ourselves, founders Bonnie and Wayne truly believe in the fundamental importance of knowing the source of your fruits and veggies. There’s nothing that compares to biting into a sweet tomato you nurtured from seed with pure, natural practices.

Bonnie and Wayne started OGHQ with a goal to bring together the organic gardening community while also educating more people about this sustainable growing method. Through their many years of experimenting side by side in their own gardens, they’ve picked up plenty of hard-won wisdom around pest control, composting, heirloom varietals and seasonal guides tailored for various climate zones.

Both Bonnie and Wayne grew up helping in their parents’ organic gardens. Even as children they were fascinated by the unseen life in the soil and came to appreciate food’s deeper connections to the land. Over the years they’ve become passionate advocates for organic growing’s power to support local ecosystems, personal wellness and social justice.

Here you’ll find lots of practical advice as well as “garden journals” sharing their triumphs and lessons alongside an inspiring network of farmers and gardeners. We provide organic solutions for any pest or disease problem and love highlighting innovative biomimicry projects truly working with nature’s rhythms.

So whether you’re new to organics or a seasoned pro wanting new ideas, we invite you to join our community as we spread more natural goodness. Here’s to cultivating an even healthier future – let’s grow!
